Sadi Irankunda

I am IRANKUNDA Sadi, a dedicated and results-driven Transportation Engineering student in my final year at the University of Rwanda – College of Science and Technology. I have a strong academic background and a passion for sustainable urban transport systems, with a particular interest in improving mobility and infrastructure in rapidly growing cities like Kigali. Through my academic journey, I have gained practical experience in transport planning, spatial analysis, and infrastructure development. I have worked with tools such as ArcGIS to analyze transport networks and service areas, and I have participated in projects focused on sustainable spatial planning and urban mobility improvement. I have also completed an academic internship at the Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA), where I gained exposure to real-world transport systems and infrastructure management. My involvement in community and organizational activities, including volunteering with A.E.R.G Rwanda and engagement with the Rwandan Muslim Community (RMC), has strengthened my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. I was honored as the best Entrepreneurship student at Lycée de Kigali and have demonstrated a consistent commitment to excellence both academically and in extracurricular activities. I am passionate about contributing to innovative and sustainable transport solutions and aspire to pursue advanced studies (PhD) in Transportation Engineering to further impact infrastructure development in Rwanda and beyond.
