Intern/ Assistant Architect en Ecotecture Ltd
Praise is a young architect with a B.A.S./B.Arch. from the Technical University of Kenya. He is a member of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK), the Kenya Green Building Society (KGBS) and United People Global (UPG). He is also an IFC EDGE (International Finance Corporation Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) trainee and an award winner in the Best Student Award Category - AAK Duracoat Awards of Excellence in Architecture - 2024. Praise is proficient in Archicad, Lumion, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and the Microsoft Suite. He is a highly creative and innovative individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, greatly empathic, and always goal-oriented. Praise has a great passion for sustainability, green buildings, and livable cities and neighbourhoods. He is always looking forward to projects that make the earth a better place for us all. His goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of eco-friendly architecture, leveraging his education and experience to create impactful, responsive, and responsible designs.

I joined Ecotecture Ltd as an intern in 2021 and later assumed the role of assistant architect till june 2024. I was in charge of projects from inception, design, presentation and execution. Some notable projects include Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources-RCTI student residence, Sudan (last male northern white rhino) Observation Tower at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a palace for Wabar (Degodia community religious leader) in Southern Ethiopia, a bank building and several residential buildings.
At the office, I was able to improve my skills in CAD, teamwork and presentation.
