Matthew Kohut is the Managing Partner of KNP Communications. He has prepared leaders for high-stakes events ranging from live television appearances to TED talks. He's the co-author of The Smart Mission (MIT Press, 2022) and Compelling People: The Hidden Qualities That Make Us Influential, and his writing has appeared in publications ranging from Newsweek to Harvard Business Review. A former professional musician, he has hosted the music podcast Sounds Out of Time since 2017.
