I am a Colombian Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and Engineering with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for driving integration of science and industry needs. My work has focused on biotechnology and wastewater treatment, with experience in environmental control in the upstream oil and gas sector. As a natural networker and communicator, found in my startup Wayakit the unique opportunity to create value and a positive impact on society and the environment.

We develop effective biotech-based formulations on hygiene. Our products:
- Wayakit LAUNDRY SPRAY The ecological formulation for decreasing the frequency of laundry. The Laundry spray removes stains and degrades molecules causing unpleasant odors while sanitizing fabrics.
In the hospitality industry, every day, millions of liters of water are used to wash towels and linens with only one usage. We help our customers implement a waterless laundry strategy by presenting a standardized life cycle assessment and life cycle cost when using Wayakit.
- Wayakit ANTIVIRAL FORMULATION Compared to traditional disinfectants such as alcohol, chlorine, or peroxide, our non-toxic and non-inflammable formulation reaches 99.999% bioburden reduction of the strain 229E, Coranovirus SARS in only 30 seconds of contact time! being safe to use on surfaces and even on skin.
COVID-19 brought new challenges not only to companies but also to ourselves as people and our relationships with our close ones. With this product as a scientist, we are bringing additional support to all efforts for facing the pandemic.
