**About Amjaad Al-Qahtani:**

**Amjaad Al-Qahtani is a Climate and Sustainability Strategist at Saudi Aramco.** 

She is working on the life-cycle analysis of energy systems with a focus on understanding the energy supply chain emissions of oil and gas operations. Also, she has been working on the sustainability of the hydrogen research area. 

Amjaad has authored several scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.  

***Amjaad was one of the pioneering female students who joined Saudi Aramco after high school in 2006. ***

She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Leeds, UK and a master's and a Ph.D. both in Chemical Engineering Research with a focus on sustainability from Imperial College London in 2021.

**About Waleed Al Somali:**

A versatile leader with 41 years of extensive experience working for Saudi Aramco in HR development, partnership management/advocacy, innovation ecosystem consultation, and industry-university stakeholder engagement. 

Today, Waleed operates as an independent consultant and is an effective driver of partnerships, champion of D&I, woman empowerment, and development. **He currently advises the Ministry of Investment in Saudi Arabia.**

**About İlayda Eskitaşçıoğlu:**

İlayda Eskitaşçıoğlu is a feminist human rights lawyer, an attorney and a Ph.D. candidate researching international human rights law at Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey. 

Her research is about a triple comparison of available business and human rights mechanisms in Turkey, Colombia and South Africa, with a focus on gender equality. 

She is the co-founder and president of We Need to Talk, an award-winning NGO that aims to fight against period poverty and menstruation stigma in Turkey and the Middle East. Her NGO has recently focused its efforts on humanitarian response by providing the menstrual care needs of thousands of earthquake survivors, following the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria in 2023.

**Marije van Koolwijk,** born in the Netherlands is since July 2023 the **Vice President, Geosciences & Engineering for TAQA, Industrialization and Energy Service Company, with base in Abu Dhabi, UAE.**

She earned her Master's degree in Geosciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and started her career with Shell in The Netherlands before moving to Norway. In 2011, she moved to Oman followed by Dubai where Marije has been residing since. 

Marije is a seasoned integrated leader who brings more than 21 years of subsurface, and well-operational experience, onshore and offshore, from various operators in Europe and, the Middle East including Kurdistan and Iraq. 

She has extensive experience in challenging operating environments covering exploration to mature field development and business planning aspects. Improving performance and efficiency by integration of disciplines is her passion.
